Carriage Costs
If we are requested to post equipment, we are happy to do so, at cost, within the UK mainland only. Please note that certain large or delicate items are available to personal callers only. If you wish to know the exact carriage cost of any specific item, then please email us.
Our Warranty
All equipment supplied by us, with the express exception of styli and loudspeakers, (which are sold, as seen, to personal callers only) is covered by our 90 day parts and labour guarantee, in respect of any defect that arises due to faulty workmanship or material. The guarantee is subject to the following provisions:- The product(s) must be correctly installed and used solely for domestic purposes. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, alteration or repair by any unauthorised person, abusive or unreasonable use, or supplemental damage. The guarantee only applies to the original purchaser. At its option “Steve’s Hi-fi” will repair free of charge equipment covered by this guarantee if it is found to be defective in material or workmanship, or refund the purchasers money in full. Defective products must be returned to “Steve’s Hi-fi” at the purchasers expense. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns Policy
All returned equipment must be packed in the carton in which it was supplied. A returns authorisation number must be obtained from us before shipping. No equipment will be accepted without a valid returns number on the shipping label. Customers have the right to cancel their order within seven working days from the receipt of the goods. All carriage charges must be paid by the customer in this event. Any non-defective equipment returned for credit outside this period will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. Missing accessories will result in a reduced credit amount by the actual replacement cost of these items.
